Dr Julian Conway McGill is the Head of South East Asia at LMC International. He is in charge of LMC's research in South East Asia.
He and his team are based in Kuala Lumpur. Their work aims to help clients better understand the economics of crops, agricultural commodities and their value chains. The majority of their work focuses on palm oil and the lauric oils as well as their downstream products.
Dr McGill holds an M.A. (Honours) in Economics from the University of Edinburgh and completed his PhD (DPhil) at the University of Oxford.

Manfred Baumgartner is working in the field of BioDiesel Technology and Waste based feedstocks since 1994. He has a Master's degree in Chemical Process Engineering at the Graz University of Technology, Austria. Beside working as a lead engineer he was leading BDI’s R&D and was also engaged in standardization of BioDiesel. From 2003 to 2018 he was the technical executive responsible for all of BDI’s engineering, construction and commissioning of BioDiesel plants worldwide. Since 2018 he is active at BDI as Sales Manager for special technical applications and for RetroFit projects. As he is responsible for the Technology of BioDiesel he was involved in research of new technologies and has a wide knowledge of different technologies for BioFuels.

Chia Ing Chuk is currently the Refining Technology Leader for the Oil, Fats and Oleochemicals (OFO) Division and part of the Technical Best Practice (TBP) team. He graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering degree with Honours. He started off his career in 2012 as a Process Engineer with Desmet Ballestra and has since been actively involved in the oil & fats industry from plant design up to commissioning. With his strong theoretical and practical expertise in Desmet processes, Chia leads the standardization of the refining processes across all offices. He is also a member of the Refinery steering committee in Desmet Ballestra Group.

Kanokwan Saswattecha has joined The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and worked for the project on "Sustainable and Climate-friendly Palm Oil Production and Procurement" in Thailand or briefly called "SCPOPP". The project closely works with key palm oil players and facilitate them to mainstream sustainable and climate-friendly palm oil production in the country, in particular building oil palm smallholder’s capacity on sustainable farming practices and meeting the RSPO standards.
Kanokwan has working experience in the Thailand palm oil industry over 10 years. She received her PhD degree in Environmental Systems Analysis at the Wageningen University in the Netherlands. Since then, she has published several scientific papers and articles related to sustainable palm oil production in Thailand.
